In response to Pope Francis' call, Caritas Dalat and the community join hands to act for a green, clean and sustainable environment for the Highlands.
Message from Laudato Si'
"Laudato si', mi' Signore" – "Praise be to you, my Lord". In this beautiful canticle, Saint Francis of Assisi reminds us that our common home is like a sister with whom we share our life.
Pope Francis points out that the current ecological crisis is a call for deep spiritual conversion and practical action to protect humanity and creation.
"All creatures are connected, each must be cherished with love and respect, for all of us as living creatures are dependent on one another."

Concrete actions of Caritas Dalat for a sustainable ecosystem
Reduce Plastic Waste
Mobilizing the community to limit the use of single-use plastic bags and utensils, promoting waste sorting and recycling in parishes.
Ecological Education
Training & communication on green lifestyles, ecological workshops for youth and local communities.
Reforestation Initiative
Aiming to plant 10,000 pine and native trees to preserve water sources and protect the green lungs of Dalat.
Current progress: 6,500/10,000 trees planted
