Harvest Ceremony in Da Nhinh 1

MOOD CEREMONY AT DA NHINH 1 – DA TONG – HAM RONG
Annual harvest ceremony
At 7:30 a.m. on October 8, 2022, in Da Nhinh 1 Village - Da Tong - Dam Rong, a harvest praying ceremony took place for all farmers in the village, with a number of households of 208. The village has 3 villages: Cil Dang, Cieng Tor, Buon Yong; Each merchant gathered at a spacious place to place the cross. If a house has 4 or 5 gardens, make 4 or 5 crosses; if a house has a few gardens, make fewer. Flowers are decorated on the crosses so that the leader and deputy head of the area can come to perform the ritual and then pray together there. Prayers will be directed to asking Mother Mary and Saint Joseph to pray for God's grace to have a good harvest this year, enough agricultural products to eat and live; The remainder is shared with more disadvantaged households in the village. After the ritual and reciting prayers, people take back their cross to put it in their garden, then return to the old place to eat and drink together.
Joy
On this happy day, people from each village bring can wine, dishes picked from the garden, luffa, chili, eggplant, fish caught from the river, fake ginger with chicken, fake chili with traditional beans grown in field rice. The rustic dish enhances its delicious taste with can wine. Joining the people were the village chief and the village secretary who came to celebrate the great day. After drinking in the fields, the people returned home and gathered at the housekeeper's house to hang out until midnight.
Everyone in the village feels happy and excited to look forward to this holiday. Before the holiday, people often clean their gardens to place the holy tree. People also thanked the head of the area for organizing it for them, and thanked each other so that such days would not be lost but would be passed down to future generations.
It's a happy day, you get drunk and then go home. It's great that the indigenous people still retain their cultural beauty in agriculture, not losing it with the modernization trend of the 4.0 era.
